Greenie Energy, a forward-thinking start-up in electric vehicle (EV) charging technology, has successfully raised $600,000 (approximately ₹5 crore) in seed funding. The investment came from prominent backers, including Rajesh Advani, Managing Director of Sun-N-Sand Hotels, as well as AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, Ashwin Ramesh (Co-Founder of Primary Advisors), and Rajaram Ajgaonkar (R M Ajgaonkar and Associates, Chartered Accountants).
The funds will support Greenie Energy’s ambitious plan to establish over 5,000 EV charging points across India by the close of 2025. The company also aims to develop innovative, scalable solutions tailored to India’s expanding EV ecosystem.
Greenie Energy’s offerings focus on affordability and convenience, with solutions suited for a variety of spaces, such as housing societies, commercial buildings, and public parking areas. Its flagship innovation allows standard electrical outlets to be upgraded into intelligent EV charging points, seamlessly managed through its dedicated mobile application. As India accelerates its shift toward cleaner transportation, Greenie Energy is poised to play a pivotal role by offering dependable and accessible charging infrastructure to meet the nation’s growing EV needs.
