Goodluck Industries, a key player in the value-added steel products sector, anticipates an additional ₹500 crore in revenue from its newly inaugurated hydraulic tube manufacturing plant in Uttar Pradesh. Equipped with advanced technology, the plant is designed to cater to industries such as construction machinery, light commercial vehicles, and industrial equipment.

Ram Aggarwal, CEO of Goodluck India, highlighted the rising demand for hydraulic tubes, driven by increased government spending on infrastructure and growth in the real estate sector. He emphasized that the new product line will serve as a significant import substitute. The plant, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tonnes, is expected to double its capacity once it operates at 60–70% utilization by mid-next year.

Hydraulic tubes from the plant are precision-engineered for automotive and construction use, adhering to strict quality standards. The company is also expanding into high-margin products for the defence and aerospace sectors, alongside automotive tubing.

Goodluck Industries is a global supplier of automotive tubes, counting Tesla, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz among its clients. It is set to launch a dedicated plant by March to produce bullet shells for the defence sector, with trial production already underway.

In addition, the company plans to strengthen ties with international buyers and Indian defence agencies to meet growing demand. Goodluck Industries also supplies specialised steel and hydraulic components for bullet train projects, boosting its presence in infrastructure development.

Aggarwal expressed optimism about long-term growth, particularly in the defence and infrastructure sectors, despite potential short-term economic challenges.
