Goldi Solar, India’s largest manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, is on a mission to hire over 10,000 workers for its solar module and cell production units through its KNOCK-RE 2025 initiative. This ambitious project is designed to offer employment opportunities in the booming renewable energy industry, which is crucial to India’s transition to clean energy.
Since the launch of the job fair in Surat on June 1, 2025, the initiative has spread across major cities, including Jaipur, Noida, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. Over 2,000 candidates have participated so far, with more than 1,000 freshers seeking their first job in the sector. The fair, which will continue in Rajkot on July 20, 2025, spans six states and aims to ensure representation from diverse regions of India. Notably, 70% of the workforce hired by Goldi Solar is from tribal communities, underscoring the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. The company is also dedicated to gender balance and providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
