Godrej’s Process Equipment division has successfully delivered essential components to one of the largest blue ammonia plants in the Middle East. This achievement marks another step forward in the company’s efforts to support cleaner energy solutions. The project highlights Godrej’s strength in manufacturing specialized industrial equipment and reflects its growing role in the global energy transition.
As the world shifts focus toward low-carbon technologies and sustainable fuel sources, the company is aligning its expertise to meet the rising need for advanced systems in hydrogen and ammonia production.
Hussain Shariyarr, Executive Vice President and Business Head of the Process Equipment division, commented, “This project is an important step for our business and shows our dedication to cleaner energy. Our engineering and manufacturing strengths continue to make us a reliable partner in large-scale energy projects worldwide.”
For this project, the company delivered heavy-duty equipment made from low alloy steel, including four high-pressure heat exchangers and one high-pressure separator. The exchangers weigh nearly 250 metric tons, with two units stretching around 26 meters in length. Built for high-temperature and high-pressure operations, these units are designed to boost energy efficiency and process reliability.
Previously, the company supplied heat exchangers to a major green hydrogen plant in the Middle East. It is now also working on blue hydrogen projects in the Americas, strengthening its presence in the global clean energy sector.
