Godavari Biorefineries Ltd (GBL), a leading ethanol producer, has entered into a strategic licensing agreement with Catalyxx Inc., securing exclusive rights to use Catalyxx’s advanced technology for converting ethanol into biobutanol and other higher alcohols. As part of this agreement, GBL will establish a state-of-the-art facility designed to produce 15,000 metric tonnes of biobutanol and other higher alcohols annually in its initial phase.
