India’s prominent aircraft maintenance provider, GMR Aero Technic, has entered into a three-year agreement with Akasa Air to provide base maintenance services for the airline’s Boeing 737 MAX fleet. According to an official announcement, the scheduled base maintenance will be carried out at GMR’s advanced maintenance facility located within the GMR Aerospace & Industrial Park in Hyderabad.
This agreement highlights Akasa Air’s focus on maintaining a highly reliable and safe fleet as the airline continues to grow. It also reflects GMR Aero Technic’s rising reputation in the aviation maintenance sector, with more Indian carriers choosing domestic options for their technical needs.
