The fourth edition of the China International Supply Chain Expo is scheduled to take place in Beijing from June 22 to 26, 2026. More than 300 companies have already confirmed their participation, and organizational work is progressing on track. Between November 30 and December 2, a delegation of Chinese business representatives—coordinated by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)—visited Canada to meet with senior officials and industry leaders.

At the Canada–China Forum on Trade and Investment Cooperation, the delegation briefed over 150 participants from public institutions and private enterprises on the upcoming event. Conversations highlighted opportunities for deeper engagement in advanced manufacturing, digital innovation, clean energy, and sustainable agriculture.

Immediately afterward, CCPIT sent another team to the United States for extensive discussions with political and corporate stakeholders, along with a series of promotional activities. On December 4, in Washington, DC, CCPIT President Ren Hongbin spoke at the forum titled “From Policy to Partnership: APEC 2026 – Unlocking Trade and Investment Potential,” emphasizing the mutual value of economic collaboration between the two countries and reaffirming CCPIT’s commitment to strengthening stable, long-term commercial links.

US participants expressed strong interest in building closer supply chain partnerships with China. The China International Exhibition Center Group also outlined plans for the 2026 Expo during the event. On December 5, the delegation took part in the “Port of Opportunity: U.S.–China Business Networking Breakfast” in Oakland, California, focusing on cooperation in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and other emerging fields to encourage joint innovation across both nations’ industrial networks. Another in-depth presentation on the Expo was provided to attendees.

The Expo continues to serve as an important venue for promoting global collaboration across industrial and supply chain sectors. CCPIT has reaffirmed its commitment to aligning preparations for the 2026 edition with the goals of the 15th Five-Year Plan, ensuring a high-quality, well-organized international gathering.
