France’s largest industrial exhibition, Global Industrie, concluded its 2025 edition after four action-packed days of discussions, demonstrations, and collaboration under the theme “We’re not giving up.” The event closed on a high note with record participation and growing support from political leaders for the country’s industrial sector.

Speaking before an audience of more than 500 at the Grande Scène, Prime Minister François Bayrou praised the country’s manufacturers, calling them “frontline defenders” and expressing his gratitude for their essential role in national resilience. “In today’s world, apart from soldiers, who else is on the front line? You are,” he said. “That’s why I came here — to say thank you and to reaffirm that you are not alone.”

Joined by Labour and Employment Minister Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet and Industry and Energy Minister Marc Ferracci, the Prime Minister encouraged industry players to take the lead in reducing red tape, aiming to enhance global competitiveness and streamline operations for businesses across the country.

The Grande Scène also hosted nearly 200 prominent voices from business, technology, and education. Notable speakers included Nicolas Dufourcq of Bpifrance, MEDEF President Patrick Martin, Siemens France President Doris Birkhofer, and Schneider Electric France President Laurent Bataille, among others. Their insights highlighted the vital role of collaboration between industry, government, and education in driving growth and innovation.

Participation at this year’s event reached unprecedented levels, reflecting a remarkable surge in interest and industry engagement. The show welcomed an impressive 45,000 visitors, representing a 20% increase compared to the 2023 edition held in Lyon. This notable growth underscores the event’s rising appeal and relevance within the global industrial community.

Further highlighting its growing stature, the exhibition drew participation from more than 2,500 companies. This strong exhibitor turnout signals not only the scale of the event but also its expanding impact across various sectors of the industrial landscape. The increased involvement from industry players demonstrates a clear commitment to innovation, collaboration, and future-ready solutions.

Recognized as France’s flagship industrial exhibition and one of the largest in Europe, Global Industrie serves as a central gathering point for professionals across sectors. The event showcases cutting-edge machinery, innovative technologies, and the expertise that powers France’s manufacturing capabilities. Each year, the show brings together more than 50,000 participants, 2,500 exhibitors, and 500 speakers, providing a key platform for shaping the future of industry.

This year’s edition further strengthened its focus on education and employment, drawing 8,000 students and job seekers. Through initiatives such as the Golden Tech competition and the GI Avenir village, the event spotlighted career opportunities and skills development in the industrial sector.

Julie Voyer, Exhibition Director, described the 2025 edition as a “collective achievement,” reinforcing the event’s position as a vital meeting ground for industrial progress. “We look forward to welcoming everyone back in Paris from March 30 to April 2, 2026,” she said.

Sébastien Gillet, CEO of GL events Exhibitions Industrie, emphasized the growing importance of Global Industrie. “Once again, this year has proven the event’s central role in uniting the industrial ecosystem. Our twelve dedicated events across France reflect our commitment to helping the sector grow, adapt, and thrive.”

Global Industrie also presented the results of two new surveys developed in partnership with Ipsos, offering valuable insights into how manufacturers and the general public perceive and expect the sector to evolve. These findings are expected to shape future policy and strategy across the industry. The 2025 edition firmly reinforced Global Industrie’s mission — to be a driving force behind industrial innovation, a champion of skills and employment, and a unifying platform for shaping the industry of tomorrow.
