GH2 Solar announced on Thursday that it has won a major project to establish a 105 MW electrolyser manufacturing facility, awarded by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project will receive a subsidy of Rs 157.5 crore under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
In a statement, GH2 Solar Pvt Ltd confirmed its success in a highly competitive bidding process. “Securing this 105 MW electrolyser manufacturing capacity marks a significant step in India’s journey towards a green hydrogen economy,” the company stated. The project, expected to be completed by 2030, is crucial for achieving India’s goal of producing 5 million metric tonnes of green hydrogen annually and reaching 280 GW of solar power capacity.
