GenX PV India, a leader in split junction box manufacturing with integrated diodes, has announced plans to open a new, fully integrated aluminium frame production facility in Raipur by early next year. This new plant will produce 18,000 metric tons of aluminium annually, aimed at supplying local solar panel manufacturers and reducing dependency on Chinese imports. The facility will offer complete solutions including extrusion, anodizing, and cutting, enabling GenX PV to enhance its in-house aluminium frame production capabilities.
The announcement was made during the Renewable Energy India Expo 2024, held from October 3-5 at the India Expo Center in Greater Noida. Alongside this new facility, GenX PV’s expansion into junction box production will strengthen its position as a key player in the solar panel materials sector. The company plans to boost its junction box manufacturing capacity in Bangalore from 20 GW to 50 GW by FY25.
In addition, GenX PV expects a significant revenue growth, projecting an increase from INR 200 crore in FY24 to INR 900 crore by FY25.
