Gensol Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (GEVPL), a subsidiary of Gensol Engineering Ltd., showcased its groundbreaking electric vehicles, EZIO and EZIBOT, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The company announced an impressive 30,000 pre-orders for these vehicles, signaling strong demand and confidence in their innovative solutions for urban mobility and last-mile delivery.
EZIO, a micro urban mobility vehicle, is designed to revolutionize city commuting. Its unique reverse trike design enhances energy efficiency, reduces weight, and offers better stability, making it ideal for fleet operators and shared mobility services in congested cities. The EZIO reverse trike is designed to cater to urban transportation needs with its compact structure that enhances maneuverability in crowded city streets. Its innovative design not only reduces parking difficulties but also optimizes rear storage space, making it a practical choice for urban users. This design ensures a seamless driving experience even in high-density areas, where space and convenience are at a premium.
The vehicle boasts an impressive range of 200 km on a single charge, coupled with fast AC charging capabilities that fully recharge the battery in just 2-3 hours. This combination of range and charging efficiency makes EZIO highly suitable for daily commutes and commercial use. Additionally, its operational costs range between ₹0.50-0.60 per km, making it up to 80% more cost-effective than petrol vehicles. This affordability positions EZIO as a game-changer, particularly for fleet operators seeking economical and sustainable alternatives.
Safety remains a top priority for EZIO, as demonstrated by its high-tensile steel chassis and rigorous testing over 100,000 km. Built to meet stringent safety and performance standards, the vehicle ensures reliable durability and protection for its users. These features, combined with its affordability and urban-friendly design, establish EZIO as a smart choice for modern mobility needs.
Anmol Singh Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering Ltd., highlighted the significance of the Bharat Mobility Expo as a platform to unveil EZIO, which addresses key urban mobility challenges such as traffic congestion, pollution, and affordability. “EZIO is a step forward in making sustainable, purpose-driven mobility solutions more accessible to India’s fleet operators and urban commuters,” he said.
Pratik Gupta, CEO of Gensol EV, shared the company’s excitement over the overwhelming pre-order response. “With 30,000 pre-orders already in place, we’re encouraged by the market’s trust in our vision. We’re now set to begin production in Pune and expand into key urban markets like Bangalore and Delhi, accelerating India’s transition to smarter, greener mobility,” he added.
In addition to the EZIO, Gensol EV displayed its last-mile delivery vehicle, EZIBOT, catering to the growing demand for eco-friendly logistics solutions. The Gensol booth also featured hands-on demos, providing visitors with a closer look at the innovative features of both vehicles.
