Gensol Engineering Ltd (GEL) has announced on Wednesday, securing a significant solar power project valued at Rs 139 crore in Chhattisgarh. This project, amounting to 33 megawatts (MW) of solar power, has been granted by Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd (SEML), as detailed in the statement provided by Gensol Engineering.

SEML has announced the forthcoming establishment of a captive solar project set to be located within its Kharora facility situated in Chhattisgarh. The stated project holds a value amounting to Rs 138.72 crore, as mentioned by the company. Gensol Engineering outlined the extensive purview of the contract, encompassing a wide array of duties ranging from the conceptualization and design phases to the meticulous execution of engineering tasks, procurement procedures, and on-site construction activities. Moreover, this encompassing agreement extends its reach to encompass the critical phase of commissioning the solar power facility upon completion.
