Gebrüder Weiss is expanding its logistics offerings in Poland. Since the start of 2025, the global logistics provider has introduced national and international partial and full truck load services (LTL/FTL), as well as additional warehousing and logistics solutions, including order picking. Customers can use the myGW portal to track shipments in real-time and access all documents digitally. These new services build on the company’s existing logistics, air, and sea freight offerings, which have been available since 2020, and support the company’s growing team, which now includes 70 employees.

René Stranz, Area Manager for Slovakia and Poland at Gebrüder Weiss, said, “Our aim is to deliver an extensive and high-quality range of logistics services to businesses in Poland. By integrating various transport modes, we will enable our clients to be more responsive to market demands and improve the efficiency of their supply chains.” Poland has become a key location for production and warehousing in Europe, with its economy growing three times faster than the EU average in 2024, driven by rising consumer spending. As a major trading partner for German companies and a hub for imports from Asia and the US, Poland’s expanding transport infrastructure, including a new international freight center at its major airport, further enhances its logistics potential.

Gebrüder Weiss currently operates in Poland with branches in Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdynia, and Warsaw, serving clients in sectors such as high-tech, automotive, consumer goods, and e-commerce. The company also provides specialized storage and order picking services for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals. As part of its long-term plans, Gebrüder Weiss aims to expand its role as a Lead Logistics Provider and may open new logistics terminals in locations such as Wroclaw or Katowice, depending on future developments.

Gebrüder Weiss Holding AG, headquartered in Lauterach, Austria, is a global logistics provider with around 8,600 employees across 180 locations. The company reported €2.46 billion in revenue in 2023, offering transport, logistics, digital services, and supply chain solutions. Known for its sustainability efforts, Gebrüder Weiss remains at the forefront of environmental, economic, and social initiatives, as well as innovative business practices.
