GE T&D India Wins ₹490 Crore Order from Power Grid

GE T&D India Ltd. announced on Sunday that it received a ₹490 crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. The order is for supplying, installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining SCADA/EMS control centers.

These centers manage and protect the power system, with all data stored on physical servers. GE T&D India is expected to complete the project by January 2026. The order value excludes an 18% GST. Earlier this month, GE T&D India also won orders worth €64 million from Grid Solutions SAS, France, and €26 million from Grid Solutions Middle East FZE, Dubai, for high voltage products. Both orders will be executed over two years.

Last Friday, GE T&D India’s shares closed at ₹1,688, having risen 219% this year. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹1,710, nearing its peak of ₹1,720. Under the Stage 4 ASM Framework, trading requires a 100% margin and a 5% price band, with individual settlement for each trade.
