Gautam Solar announced it has filed a patent for a new packaging pallet designed for safe storage and transport of solar panels. The new design is ideal for moving Gautam Solar’s 144 cell mono PERC and TOPCon solar panels.

The pallet has a strong wooden base separator to keep each panel secure and prevent damage during transit. It is made for canter trucks, optimizing space and making loading and unloading easier. CEO Gautam Mohanka said, “Transporting solar panels without damage is a big challenge, especially with road bumps. Our new pallet design solves this problem, making transport safer and more efficient.”

The pallet’s design ensures panels are protected from damage and shocks, reducing the need for replacements. Gautam Solar, based in New Delhi, plans to expand its solar module capacity to 2.5 GWp this year and 5 GWp by FY2025-26.
