GameChange Solar has announced the launch of eight new utility-scale solar installations across Latin America, adding a combined capacity of 715 megawatts peak (MWp). The expansion includes three sites in Chile, one in El Salvador, and four in Colombia—reinforcing the company’s commitment to advancing solar power in the region.

The new installations will primarily use the Genius Tracker™ single-axis system, known for its ability to enhance solar plant output by tracking the sun’s position throughout the day. One of the projects will deploy the MaxSpan™ fixed-tilt system, showcasing GameChangeSolar’s range of technologies tailored to varying site conditions. These projects reflect the company’s ability to deliver reliable systems in complex environments, such as the harsh desert climate of Chile’s Antofagasta region, the variable geotechnical challenges in El Salvador, and the corrosive, expansive soils along Colombia’s Caribbean coast.

“Our customers trust us to deliver durable, efficient solar systems in some of the most demanding locations across Latin America,” said Juan Gonzalez, Director of Business Development for the LATAM region. “Whether it’s the arid landscapes of Chile or the coastal zones of Colombia, our technology continues to prove its value in real-world conditions.” The growing number of installations underlines GameChangeSolar’s role as a reliable partner for developers seeking fast deployment, performance, and long-term value across diverse terrains and climates.

GameChange Solar ranks among the top global suppliers of solar tracker systems for utility-scale and large distributed solar power projects. The company has delivered over 43 gigawatts (GW) of systems worldwide. With a focus on rapid installation, engineering excellence, and cost efficiency, GameChange Solar provides equipment that enables solar modules to maximize output by following the sun’s path, while also withstanding extreme weather conditions.
