Fronius, an Austrian family-owned company, has once again achieved the prestigious Gold medal in the EcoVadis sustainability rating. This marks the second consecutive year the company has received the honor, placing it among the top 5% of the most sustainable companies in its industry. Over the years, Fronius has steadily climbed the ranks, earning bronze initially, then silver, and now securing its second Gold award.
EcoVadis, an internationally renowned rating agency, evaluates over 130,000 companies across 180 countries and 220 sectors annually. The assessment focuses on four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
“The EcoVadis rating becomes more demanding each year, so we are especially proud to have maintained our Gold rating,” said Katrin Helmberger, Head of Corporate Sustainability at Fronius. “This recognition motivates us to keep improving and identifying areas for further progress.”
