Renault Group’s Board of Directors, led by Chairman Jean-Dominique Senard, has officially named François Provost as the new Chief Executive Officer of Renault SA and Chairman of Renault sas, effective July 31, 2025. He has also been appointed to the Boards of both Renault S.A. and Renault s.a.s. for a four-year term, following the Governance and Remuneration Committee’s recommendation.

François Provost, who previously led Procurement, Partnerships, and Public Affairs for the company, brings over two decades of experience within the Group. He has held a range of high-level roles across different regions, combining operational knowledge with a long-term strategic outlook. His leadership is expected to drive Renault Group’s continued progress, particularly in global markets and through key alliances, while maintaining a focus on performance and integrity.

Following the appointment, Jean-Dominique Senard commented “I have full confidence in François Provost’s ability to guide the Group with clarity and resilience. Our industry is evolving rapidly, and it demands leadership grounded in accountability, innovation, and long-term thinking. His deep understanding of Renault’s operations and culture will be critical in completing our current roadmap and shaping the next phase. I also wish to extend my sincere thanks to Duncan Minto for stepping in as interim leader these past days.”
