Flowserve Corporation, a global provider of flow control products and services for infrastructure industries, has completed the acquisition of the Valves Division of Trillium Flow Technologies (TVD) in an all-cash transaction valued at US$490 million, excluding customary working capital adjustments. The acquisition strengthens Flowserve’s portfolio of engineered flow control solutions and expands its presence in the growing power, nuclear and critical infrastructure markets.

The newly acquired business is widely recognised for its engineered valve technologies and flow control equipment used in nuclear power plants, conventional power generation, industrial processing and other critical infrastructure applications. With a heritage spanning nearly two centuries, TVD has built a strong reputation for engineering expertise, product reliability and long-term customer relationships across international markets.

The acquisition adds a broad portfolio of specialised valve and actuation technologies to Flowserve’s existing product range. It also enhances the company’s capabilities in serving both established and emerging energy sectors, particularly as investment in nuclear power generation and energy infrastructure continues to accelerate globally.

Commenting on the acquisition, Scott Rowe, President and Chief Executive Officer of Flowserve, said the addition of TVD aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of expanding in markets offering sustainable growth opportunities. He noted that the transaction strengthens Flowserve’s position in the power and nuclear industries while broadening its technology portfolio and reinforcing relationships with customers operating in mission-critical applications.

Following the completion of the acquisition, Flowserve will integrate TVD into its global operations through the Flowserve Business System, supported by its established 80/20 operating methodology. The integration programme is designed to improve operational efficiency, optimise manufacturing processes, strengthen customer service capabilities and enhance profitability across the combined business.

Flowserve expects the acquired business to generate approximately US$200 million in annualised revenue following the implementation of operational improvements associated with its 80/20 strategy. The company also anticipates adjusted EBITDA margins for the business to remain in the high-teen percentage range, reflecting the strength of TVD’s product portfolio and service capabilities.

The acquisition further enhances Flowserve’s aftermarket offering by combining complementary product lines, engineering expertise and service networks. Customers will benefit from a broader range of valve technologies, expanded maintenance services and improved technical support for complex industrial applications.

Flowserve also reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a seamless transition for TVD’s customers, suppliers and distribution partners. The company plans to leverage its global manufacturing footprint, engineering resources and service infrastructure to support continued business growth while maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability associated with both organisations.

Operating in more than 50 countries, Flowserve is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of engineered pumps, valves, seals and related flow management solutions. Its products and services support customers across energy, power generation, chemicals, water management, mining and other industrial sectors, helping improve operational efficiency, reliability and long-term asset performance. The acquisition of Trillium Flow Technologies’ Valves Division further reinforces Flowserve’s position as a global supplier of advanced flow control technologies for critical infrastructure and industrial applications.
