Flowserve Corporation is a leading American industrial company specializing in flow control systems and solutions for critical global infrastructure.
Headquartered in Irving, Texas, it operates in more than 50 countries with around 16,000 employees worldwide. The company designs, manufactures, distributes, and services precision-engineered pumps, valves, mechanical seals, actuators, and related products essential for industries such as oil and gas, power generation, chemical processing, water treatment, mining, and more.
Flowserve’s roots extend over 200 years through a network of heritage brands, but the corporation as it is known today was formed in 1997 from the merger of BW/IP International and Durco International. This strategic consolidation created a broad portfolio of fluid-handling equipment and aftermarket services, strengthening its position in the industrial machinery sector. The company operates primarily through divisions focused on pumps and flow control products, offering engineered pump systems, control valves, and automation solutions tailored to customer needs.
It also provides extensive aftermarket support, including maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and lifecycle services that enhance operational performance and reliability. Over time, Flowserve has grown through acquisitions and innovations, building a reputation for quality and technical expertise in fluid management technologies that support critical infrastructure and industrial applications around the world.
