FlexQube has reinforced its intellectual property portfolio with the award of its fifth US patent for the Navigator Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), further strengthening its position in the autonomous material handling sector. The latest patent, titled “Navigator Interface,” was granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on June 30, 2026, marking the first approved patent under the company’s fourth patent family for the Navigator platform.
The newly granted patent protects an innovative interface technology that enables the Navigator AMR to connect with and transport motorized load carriers. The interface allows the robotic platform to generate the lifting force required to securely engage with a variety of powered load carriers, enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of automated material handling operations across industrial environments.
The latest milestone reflects FlexQube’s long-term commitment to innovation and intellectual property development. By continuously expanding patent protection for its core technologies, the company aims to safeguard its competitive advantages while supporting the ongoing evolution of its autonomous logistics solutions. Alongside five granted U.S. patents, FlexQube has also secured corresponding patents in several strategic international markets, reinforcing global protection for the Navigator platform.
Commenting on the achievement, Anders Fogelberg, Chief Executive Officer of FlexQube, said the latest patent demonstrates the company’s sustained focus on developing proprietary technologies that differentiate its automation solutions. “This patent represents another important step in our long-term innovation and intellectual property strategy. We continue to invest in technologies that strengthen the unique capabilities of the Navigator platform while protecting the innovations that drive customer value. A strong patent portfolio supports our competitiveness, creates long-term business value, and provides a solid foundation for future product development and commercial expansion,” Mr Fogelberg said.
