Fischer Connectors has introduced advanced USB 3.2 Gen 2 solutions designed to meet the high-speed data transfer needs of various sectors. These new offerings, showcased at electronica India 2024, include enhancements across three major product lines: the Fischer Core Series, Fischer MiniMax™ Series, and Fischer UltiMate™ Series.
The Core Series, with a 15.5 mm diameter, is tailored for environments demanding high chemical resistance and sterilization, making it ideal for medical applications and industrial settings. The MiniMax™ Series, featuring a compact 12.9 mm or 14.9 mm diameter, is suited for applications where size, weight, and power are critical, such as body-worn devices and high-performance sensors. Meanwhile, the UltiMate™ Series, with an 18.5 mm diameter, provides robust durability for civil and military drones, offering resistance to shock, vibration, and corrosion.
All three series support IP68 sealing, with the Core and UltiMate also featuring hermetic sealing for enhanced protection. They can withstand extreme temperatures and high mating cycles, with the MiniMax™ capable of operating from -40 °C to +135 °C, and the Core and UltiMate™ ranging from -70 °C to +250 °C and -55 °C to +135 °C, respectively.
In addition to rugged connectors, the company emphasizes the importance of high-quality cable assembly to maintain signal integrity. Engineers must consider various factors such as impedance matching and EMC shielding to ensure reliable data transmission. Fischer Connectors’ focus on precision and performance supports applications across medical, defense, industrial, and instrumentation sectors, reinforcing its role in the global connectivity landscape.
As part of the Conextivity Group, Fischer Connectors continues to innovate in high-performance connectivity solutions, contributing to the development of scalable ecosystems for power and data management.
