LAPP Group’s global growth strategy is paying off: In fiscal year 2026 (1 October 2025 – 30 September 2026), the global market leader in integrated solutions for cable and connection technology achieved sales of more than 2.3 billion euros (fiscal year 2025: 1.93 billion euros), according to preliminary figures. These record sales are driven by strong organic growth as well as one-off factors such as copper prices and acquisitions.

The Asia-Pacific and Americas regions contributed strongly to the overall sales growth of the Stuttgart-based connectivity solutions specialist. The EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa) proved resilient despite a persistently challenging market environment and continues to account for the majority of LAPP’s global sales. Matthias Lapp, CEO of the LAPP Group, says: “We are benefiting from our established local presence in the Asian and American growth markets. In Europe, and particularly in Germany, the situation remains challenging. Even though the order intake over recent months has made me more optimistic, it is still far too early for euphoria – particularly because we must always look at Germany in the context of international competitiveness.”

LAPP once again posted strong growth in key industries such as intralogistics, e-mobility, and industrial automation. In addition to volume increases, one-off factors such as the significant rise in the price of copper and acquisitions contributed to the financial results: At the start of 2026, LAPP fully acquired its former South-East Asia joint venture and now operates own locations in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

The family-owned company is entering fiscal year 2027 with confidence, but also with the necessary caution. On this achievement Matthias Lapp commented, “Geopolitical uncertainties remain, but we have proven that we can remain capable of acting and seizing opportunities even under difficult conditions.” The family entrepreneur plans to place particular emphasis on profitability. “We have invested heavily in recent years – in production capacity, logistics networks, and digitalisation. The priority now is to utilise these new capacities. We want to grow profitably so that we remain a strong, innovative partner for our customers in the long term.” As of 30 September 2026, LAPP Group had around 6,300 employees worldwide.
