Fineotex Chemical Limited (FCL), a prominent Indian multinational in the specialty performance chemical sector, has officially commenced operations at its newly developed manufacturing facility in Ambernath. Developed with an investment of approximately ₹60 crore, the plant significantly expands the company’s production infrastructure by 7 acres. This first phase of the expansion adds 15,000 metric tonnes to FCL’s current production capacity, enabling the company to better meet rising demand in both domestic and global markets.
The new facility is strategically positioned for optimal logistics, offering seamless access to key transport hubs including Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT), Bhiwandi, and Fineotex’s existing Ambernath plant. This strategic location ensures streamlined operations and faster delivery times, helping the company maintain high service standards for its customers. The new site is part of Fineotex’s broader growth strategy focused on expanding manufacturing capacity, operational efficiency, and market responsiveness.
Sanjay Tibrewala, Executive Director, commented on the milestone, saying, “Staying aligned with our project schedule, the new plant reaffirms our vision for sustainable and scalable growth. With the added capacity and improved logistics, we are now better positioned to introduce new product lines and strengthen our foothold in key markets.”
Adding to this, Executive Director Aarti Jhunjhunwala stated, “The launch of our expanded Ambernath facility marks a pivotal step in addressing increasing customer requirements.
