Fi India & ProPak India 2025 Opens with 340+ Exhibitors, Global Participation, and Industry-Shaping Dialogues

The 19th edition of Fi India co-located with the 7th edition of ProPak India commenced today at India Expo Mart (IEML), Delhi, bringing together stakeholders from across the food ingredients, processing, packaging, and supply chain sectors. Running from 3rd to 5th September 2025, the combined shows are set to welcome 15,000+ professionals, featuring 340+ exhibitors and strong international participation. The platform continues to serve as a catalyst for high-value sourcing, collaboration, and innovation in one of the world’s fastest-growing food and beverage markets.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished leaders from industry associations, chambers, and government bodies, including Dr Prabodh Halde (CASMB), Dr Dinkar B. Kamble (AFST Delhi), Nilesh Lele (CASMB), Hitesh Patel (HADSA), Umesh Kamble (CASMB), Sagar Kurade (Suman Project Consultants Pvt Ltd), Yogesh Mudras (Informa Markets in India), and Rahul Deshpande (Informa Markets in India), among others. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of ProPak India.

Speaking at the opening, Dr Prabodh Halde, Chairman of CASMB, highlighted India’s growing importance in the global food ingredients market, valued at $8–9 billion, with Ayurveda, herbal, and organic products driving growth alongside FSSAI’s Aahara food standards. Hitesh Patel, Chair of HADSA, noted the importance of exhibitions like Fi India & ProPak India in bringing together stakeholders across the value chain, supporting branding, marketing, and innovation while empowering Indian businesses to compete on a global scale.

Nilesh Lele, President of CASMB, emphasised the platform’s role in supporting industry growth through conferences, seminars, and the Fi Awards, which recognise both established players and MSMEs driving innovation. Sagar Kurade, MD of Suman Project Consultants, spoke about the sector’s evolution since the 1960s and its future potential, particularly in clean-label and natural products, with India poised to become a global hub for food processing and packaging.

Yogesh Mudras, MD of Informa Markets in India, added “India’s food processing sector is undergoing a transformative shift, driven by rising health consciousness, organic consumption, and plant-based alternatives. With the organic food market projected to reach ₹75,000 crore by 2025, Fi India & ProPak India provide a crucial platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and collaboration, strengthening India’s role in the global food ecosystem.”

Fi India 2025 showcases the complete spectrum of the ingredients industry—including flavors, colors, spices, natural extracts, proteins, sweeteners, and essential oils—with leading exhibitors such as Brenntag Ingredients, Kerry Ingredients, Synthite Industries, Symega Food Ingredients, Plant Lipids, IMCD India, Novozymes South Asia, and Azelis India. International participation includes exhibitors from USA, Italy, Denmark, Poland, France, Brazil, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, and the UAE.

ProPak India 2025, part of the globally renowned ProPak series, highlights the latest in processing and packaging technologies, sustainable machinery, and smart solutions. Key exhibitors include Clearpack Automation, Glatt Systems, Goma Engineering, Harikrushna Machines, Konica Minolta, SACMI Imola, Wraptech Machines, and Starpac India.

The show features 80+ exhibitors, live demonstrations, product launches, and MSME-focused engagement zones.
