Ferrato, a pioneering name in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, has announced the commencement of pre-bookings for its highly anticipated e-bike, the ‘Disruptor.’ This innovative electric marvel promises to redefine the riding experience for sports bike enthusiasts and fans alike, combining unmatched power, cutting-edge design, and advanced technology.
The pre-booking phase for the Disruptor kicks off with an exclusive offer, allowing enthusiasts to secure their unit for an initial price of ₹2,000. However, following this introductory offer, the pre-booking price will rise to ₹2,500. The official price of the Disruptor will be unveiled on May 2, 2024.
Engineered to deliver an exhilarating performance, the Disruptor is equipped with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) delivering a peak power of 6.37 kW, propelling riders to a top speed of 95 km/h. With a torque of 228 Nm and a commendable range of 129 km on a single charge, facilitated by its 3.97 kWh battery capacity, the Disruptor ensures both power and endurance. Moreover, the company asserts that the bike can be operated for a mere 25 paise per km, equivalent to ₹1 per 4 km, promising an efficient and cost-effective riding experience.
Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya EV, expressed his enthusiasm about the pre-bookings for the Disruptor. He remarked, “This electric marvel combines unmatched power, cutting-edge design, and advanced technology, offering an exhilarating ride for sports bike enthusiasts and fans alike.”
Prior to the Disruptor, Okaya EV introduced the Motofaast scooter to the market, priced at ₹1.37 lakh (ex-showroom). The Motofaast, equipped with a dual battery system boasting a combined capacity of 3.53 kWh, offers a top speed of 70 kmph and a riding range of up to 130 km on a single charge. Charging to full capacity takes approximately 4-5 hours.
In addition to the product launches, Okaya EV has outlined ambitious plans for its premium service centres dedicated to the Ferrato sub-brand. The company also intends to establish more than 100 dealerships nationwide for the premium brand, ensuring widespread accessibility and top-notch service for customers.
With the Disruptor now open for pre-booking, Ferrato aims to set new benchmarks in the electric sports bike segment, catering to the evolving preferences of modern riders while championing sustainability and innovation.
