Ferguson, a leading distributor in the $340 billion North American construction market, has launched its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru. Developed in collaboration with ANSR, a global expert in building and managing GCCs, the new center represents a major step in Ferguson’s technology and innovation strategy.
This initiative is designed to support Ferguson’s digital transformation and improve customer experiences through advanced technology. The Bengaluru GCC will act as a strategic arm of the company’s global operations, focusing on enhancing technology capabilities and improving operational efficiency.
“Our goal is more than just expanding our tech footprint—it’s about shaping a future-ready organization,” said Arvind Rathore, Acting Managing Director of the Ferguson GCC. “Bengaluru’s tech ecosystem provides the ideal environment to grow a team that can deliver next-gen digital solutions for skilled trade professionals.”
The center will drive progress across several critical functions, including software engineering, artificial intelligence, data analytics, ERP, CRM, and network infrastructure. It will play a key role in executing Ferguson’s long-term technology roadmap.
Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR, commented, “The launch of the Ferguson GCC showcases their long-term commitment to growth driven by technology. We’re proud to help build a high-performance innovation hub in India that aligns with Ferguson’s broader strategy.”
Rather than replacing existing roles, the GCC is designed to complement Ferguson’s global operations, adding scalability and speed to its development initiatives. With over 50 team members already in place, the center plans to expand further in the coming years and will soon host key leadership roles as well. The Bengaluru GCC will offer strong career opportunities to India’s tech talent, allowing engineers and digital professionals to contribute to next-generation solutions for the global construction sector.
