Everest Industries, a construction materials company based in India, has committed ₹1.76 crore to Amplus Ampere — a special-purpose vehicle launched by Amplus Energy Solutions — to develop a solar power plant dedicated to meeting the company’s own energy needs. As part of the group captive model, Everest Industries will source 5.5 MWp of solar electricity from the plant.

The investment grants Everest a 3.12% ownership in Amplus Ampere, through the purchase of 17.6 lakh equity shares at ₹10 each. Amplus Energy Solutions is focused on building, generating, and distributing solar energy across the country.

Everest Industries explained that the share acquisition is intended to facilitate open access to solar power and enhance the company’s use of renewable energy in Maharashtra. Everest Industries Limited is one of India’s leading building solutions providers with a legacy of more than nine decades.
