Eveready Unveils India’s First Dual-Powered Hybrid Torch

Eveready Industries, a leading name in the flashlight and battery segment, has launched the country’s first hybrid torch, introducing a new standard in portable lighting. The latest addition to Eveready’s flashlight range features a unique dual-power design that works both as a rechargeable and a battery-operated torch, offering users uninterrupted lighting even during power outages.

The hybrid torch is built with a sturdy ABS plastic body, making it suitable for everyday use as well as rugged outdoor conditions. It includes a bright 1W front LED for focused lighting and a 1W side panel for broader illumination. The torch is equipped with a fast-charging USB Type-C port, charging the built-in rechargeable battery in just 2.5 hours. It can also operate using 3 x AA batteries, allowing users to switch power modes with ease. Additional safety features such as overcharge and deep discharge protection help extend battery life. Its ergonomic design includes a slide switch for selecting between front and side lights, and a dedicated mode selector to toggle between rechargeable and battery use.

The tagline #NeverOutOfLight captures the essence of the product’s promise to keep users prepared in all situations.

The hybrid torch is ideal for home use, travel, outdoor adventures, and emergency situations. It is priced at ₹399 and available in red and green colour options across retail stores and major online platforms in India.

Previously, Eveready introduced the Siren Torch — a compact, rechargeable flashlight with an integrated 100-decibel alarm designed for personal safety. Activated with a simple pull of the keychain, it was developed to help women signal for help in threatening situations.
