Mr Banerjee brings over 20 years of experience across the FMCG, consumer durables, and retail sectors. Before taking on the CEO role, he led Eveready’s Batteries and Flashlights division as Senior Vice President and Strategic Business Unit Head. During his tenure, he played a critical role in modernising the product range, strengthening the brand’s market leadership, and driving operational shifts within the core business.
Prior to joining Eveready in 2022, Mr Banerjee held senior leadership roles at Godrej Consumer Products Limited for nearly 14 years. His portfolio at Godrej spanned marketing, global innovation, and international market development, particularly across ASEAN regions. In his final role with the company, he was based in Jakarta, where he led marketing, e-commerce, and export functions for the Southeast Asian market. His wide-ranging experience is expected to contribute significantly to Eveready’s plans to evolve into a more digitally integrated and consumer-oriented organisation.
