Getting incubated at Gujarat University Startup ad Entrepreneurship Council, Ahmedabad based E-Vega Mobility is exhibiting their very first prototype of E-Vega Asteroid, Electric Bicycle at SSIP Annual International Conference on Student Innovation, Start-ups and Ecosystem 2019. The event is held for two days on 6th and 7th of June 2019 at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat.
The founder, Shubham Mishra is excited about the selection of his prototype, and the opportunity he will be using to get feedback from visitors to improve in further development of their first product E-Vega Asteroid. The prototype is yet to be completed, and inputs from users at this level will help the technical team to make a product which is user friendly, and economical. Inspired by Elon Musk he founded E-Vega Mobility, and got into one of India’s leading startup supporting system – GUSEC. The current prototype is developed under his technical leadership, mentored by Dr. Tapan Mishra, Former ISRO SAC Director.
Shubham is supported by three more of his team members, all students, Natansh Vyas, B.Tech last year, IITRAM, Bhavik Solanki, M.Tech from Indus University and Bhavesh Koradiya, M.com Gujarat University. Their mission is to bring out an economical ebyke with 100% local components, a challenge they are trying to overcome now. Most of the components used on the prototype are imported, and the final product will be priced at around Rs.20,000/-, explains Shubham.
The two-day SSIP Annual conference is organized by Student Startup Innovation Policy, an initiative of Government of Gujarat, formed for providing assistance to startups and for new innovations.
