Escorts Kubota Limited has been allotted approximately 200 acres of land by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) for the development of a ₹4,500 crore tractor manufacturing plant. The land is located in Sector-10 of the industrial zone.
The company formalized its plans through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Government of Uttar Pradesh on August 17, 2024. The project is expected to generate employment for 4,000 individuals in phases.
In the first phase, Escorts Kubota will invest ₹2,000 crore to construct a tractor manufacturing facility, a commercial equipment plant, and associated infrastructure. Subsequent expansion will depend on market demand and capacity utilization of the initial phase.
The proposed facility will serve both domestic and international markets, strengthening Escorts Kubota’s manufacturing footprint and export capabilities. The company also plans to establish shared services operations at the site to support Kubota’s global R&D activities, leveraging India’s technical and engineering talent pool.
The new facility is expected to contribute significantly to industrial growth in the region and support the state’s broader economic development goals.
