Pune-based Enlight Metals Pvt Ltd, a prominent player in the metals sector, has diversified into cable tray aggregation as part of its strategy to transition from supplying raw materials to offering complete steel solutions. The move aims to provide industries and infrastructure projects with project-ready components and enhance procurement efficiency.
Leveraging its established supply chain, strong OEM partnerships, and understanding of industrial needs, the company will cater to sectors such as electrical EPCs, renewable energy, industrial automation, and infrastructure. The new business line will focus on high-demand markets in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.
“Our expertise in sourcing and supply chain management positions us well for the next stage of growth, which is value-added aggregation. Cable trays align naturally with our client base and market demand, bringing us closer to delivering ready-to-use steel solutions,” said Vedant Goel, Director, Enlight Metals.
The range will cover perforated, ladder, wire mesh, and solid bottom trays, along with accessories, in pre-galvanised, powder-coated, and hot-dip galvanised finishes. Manufacturing will be carried out through certified partners to meet IS 1079 and IS 513 standards.
Enlight Metals has allocated ₹5 crore to develop aggregation infrastructure, integrate vendors, and maintain working capital. ERP-based systems will oversee inventory and delivery schedules, aiming for faster turnaround and improved service. This expansion strengthens Enlight Metals’ position as a single-source provider of dependable, high-quality steel components for industrial and infrastructure applications.
