Endurance Technologies Limited has announced the establishment of a new manufacturing facility dedicated to Lithium-Ion battery packs, with a planned investment of ₹47.3 crore. The company disclosed this development in a regulatory submission to the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India.

The facility will be a greenfield project located in Mindewadi, Taluka Maval, District Pune, Maharashtra. It will focus on producing Lithium-Ion battery packs for mobility-related uses and battery energy storage systems. The plant is expected to begin phased production in the fourth quarter of FY 2025–26, with commercial launch targeted for January 2026. At full capacity, the unit will produce approximately 35,000 battery packs per month.

Endurance Technologies confirmed that the project will be funded through internal accruals. The initiative aligns with the company’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in the growing sectors of clean mobility and energy storage. The new facility will also complement the offerings of its wholly owned subsidiary, Maxwell Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., which specializes in battery management systems. Initially, the output from the new plant will be directed exclusively to the domestic market. This move highlights the company’s ongoing efforts to diversify its product range and contribute to sustainable transportation and energy solutions. Endurance Technologies Limited is a leading Indian manufacturer of automotive components, catering primarily to two-wheeler and three-wheeler OEMs. Headquartered in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, the company offers a wide range of products, including aluminium die-castings, suspension systems, braking systems, and transmission components.
