The employees, management, and shareholders of the Endress+Hauser Group are grieving the tragic death of Dr Dirk Mörmann, the managing director of the Level and Pressure Measurement Technology Competence Center in Maulburg, Germany. Dr Mörmann, 51, tragically passed away in a car accident on March 25, 2025, while returning from a business meeting.
“We are all deeply shocked and saddened by this devastating news,” said Dr Peter Selders, CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group. “Our thoughts are with his wife, three children, and all his loved ones.” Dr. Selders remembered Dr. Mörmann as a compassionate and approachable leader, stating, “In his brief time with us, Dr. Mörmann made a profound impact, particularly through his warm personality. He will be greatly missed.”
Dr Mörmann, who held a doctorate in physics, joined Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure as the director of technology in 2022 and became the head of the competence center in early 2024. To maintain stability, the management team at Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure will oversee operations and ensure the continued success of the business during this difficult time.
