Endress+Hauser is pushing forward with digital transformation across its products, customer interactions, and internal collaboration. Endress+Hauser InfoServe, the Group’s IT service provider, is at the forefront of this initiative.
Oliver Blum will take over as the new managing director starting January 1, 2025. Blum, who was previously the Corporate Director of Supply Chain at Endress+Hauser, brings almost 20 years of experience working at the intersection of business and information technology.
Pieter de Koning, who has been at the helm of Endress+Hauser InfoServe since 2012, will now focus solely on his role as Chief Information Officer on the Group’s Executive Board. His responsibilities include advancing the global IT strategy, cyber crisis management, and the development of artificial intelligence and data management concepts.
Oliver Blum, aged 47, has been with Endress+Hauser since 2005, bringing a strong background in logistics, trade compliance, purchasing, and quality management. As the new managing director of Endress+Hauser InfoServe, he aims to further align IT strategies with the business needs, enhancing the business perspective within the IT department.
Endress+Hauser InfoServe supports the global activities of the Endress+Hauser Group, operating across over 160 locations worldwide. The goal is to establish a unified IT landscape for customers, employees, and partners. The team includes more than 400 experts, with major locations in Weil am Rhein and Freiburg, Germany, and additional sites in the USA, India, China, and Japan.
Fabian Dreier, aged 42, will succeed Oliver Blum as the Corporate Director of Supply Chain for the Endress+Hauser Group, effective February 1, 2025. Dreier was previously responsible for global supply chain management at Endress+Hauser Flow in Reinach, Switzerland. He began his career at Endress+Hauser in 1998, completing an apprenticeship as a polymechanic before earning an Executive MBA. Dreier has a broad background in marketing, product management, and supply chain roles.
