Dr Klaus Endress, who has been instrumental in the company’s development for nearly 45 years, will step down as president of the Supervisory Board and will be succeeded by CEO Matthias Altendorf. The new CEO of the Group will be Dr Peter Selders, the current head of the centre of competence for level and pressure measurement technology. He took over as Group CEO in 1995 before handing over the reins to Matthias Altendorf in 2014 and assuming the role of President of the Supervisory Board. His influence on the company is evident even today, and he has worked to ensure a seamless generational change within the shareholder family.
