EMotorad, a pioneer in the electric mobility space, has just unveiled the T-Rex Pro, India’s first e-cycle featuring a fully integrated handlebar that comes packed with advanced functions such as indicators, a flashlight, a horn, and an LCD display. This innovative e-cycle is priced at an attractive introductory rate of ₹52,999, with the maximum retail price set at ₹79,999. The T-Rex Pro raises the bar in terms of design, performance, and rider safety, bringing together cutting-edge technology with modern aesthetics.
As India’s first e-cycle to offer fully integrated front and rear lighting systems, the T-Rex Pro enhances safety with both high and low beam settings, built-in indicators, and a brake light. This ensures riders are visible and safe on the road, even in low-light conditions. The handlebar-integrated LCD screen offers real-time data on key metrics such as speed, battery status, and pedal assist levels, providing cyclists with a seamless, user-friendly interface that enhances the riding experience.
What sets the T-Rex Pro apart is its premium look and feel. The e-cycle’s exterior is finished using body shop painting techniques typically reserved for luxury automobiles, giving it not only visual appeal but also greater durability. This sleek, high-end finish enhances the bike’s overall aesthetics, making it as stylish as it is functional.
Sumedh Battewar, Chief Business Officer and Co-founder of EMotorad, expressed his excitement, saying, “Innovation is at the heart of every product we design at EMotorad, and the T-Rex Pro is a perfect example of that. It’s India’s first e-cycle with fully integrated rear and front indicators and headlights with a flashlight function. With its handlebar-integrated LCD display, high-end luxury-grade paint, and safety-focused features like brake lights and a horn, the T-Rex Pro sets a new benchmark in both engineering and metallurgy.”
This comprehensive e-cycle package comes equipped with a host of essential accessories. Front and rear lights, a horn, mudguards, and a carrier are all included, combining both style and functionality. The T-Rex Pro is available in three striking colors—Deep Purple, Spring Green, and Ocean Blue—each with a pearl finish that gives the e-cycle a distinct, premium appearance.
Constructed from a durable Aluminium Alloy 6061 frame, the T-Rex Pro comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, ensuring long-lasting performance. Riders can choose between two wheel sizes—27.5 inches and 29 inches—depending on their riding preferences. The bike is also outfitted with mechanical disc brakes that include an auto cut-off feature for enhanced safety, along with a 7-speed Shimano Altus gear system that offers smooth shifting across different terrains.
At the heart of the T-Rex Pro is a 250W rear hub motor paired with a 36V 13Ah lithium-ion battery, delivering an impressive range of up to 70 km in pedal assist mode and 45 km in throttle mode. With five different pedal assist modes, the e-cycle is adaptable to various riding conditions, whether you’re cruising through the city or tackling tougher terrains. The battery takes about 4 to 6 hours to charge fully, ensuring minimal downtime between rides.
The T-Rex Pro is currently available for pre-booking on the EMotorad website, with prices starting at ₹52,999 for the 27.5-inch variant and ₹53,999 for the 29-inch model. It will soon be available for purchase on major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, as well as in retail stores.
