Emcure Pharmaceuticals, a leading player in India’s pharmaceutical sector, has officially opened its advanced Formulation Research and Development (R&D) Centre in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The state-of-the-art facility, located near Tapovan Circle, will focus on pioneering research in complex drug delivery systems, including sustained-release formulations, liposomal injections, and advanced dermal therapies. The inauguration event was graced by Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel, Gujarat’s Minister of Health and Family Welfare, highlighting Emcure’s dedication to advancing healthcare through innovative drug development.
The Emcure Research Centre (ERC) is designed to drive pharmaceutical breakthroughs, featuring top-tier laboratories and cutting-edge equipment for a variety of dosage forms. The centre is equipped to handle all stages of pharmaceutical development, from early-stage formulation to scaling-up, while ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.
A skilled team of 350 professionals, including PhDs, post-graduates, and graduates specializing in pharmaceutical sciences, bio-engineering, analytical chemistry, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs, will work together to develop innovative formulations and enhance drug bioavailability.
