This fully sponsored initiative is designed to benefit 20 high-achieving students from financially underprivileged backgrounds, beginning with the 2025–26 academic year. Focused on Mechanical Engineering, the program will offer a comprehensive education leading to a B.Tech degree, practical industry training, and confirmed employment at ELGi, underscoring the company’s long-standing dedication to social responsibility and technical excellence.

To be eligible, applicants must qualify through the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) and pass ELGi’s additional internal assessments. The scholarship is specifically intended for students pursuing a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campus in Coimbatore.
