EKA Mobility, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries and a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has joined forces with Skyline Motors (India) Private Limited to introduce electric buses in Uttarakhand. The EKA 9 electric buses are now operational on the Dehradun-Rishikesh route via Haridwar, covering a daily distance of 300 kilometers.
This initiative aims to advance Uttarakhand’s green transportation objectives by providing an eco-friendly and efficient commuting option between these key cities. The deployment is expected to cut carbon emissions while delivering a reliable and cost-effective transit solution.

He highlighted that EKA’s electric buses are engineered to deliver energy-efficient and emission-free travel, making them a cost-effective choice for transit operators.
The EKA 9 buses come with features designed to boost passenger safety and lower environmental impact. The 9-meter air-conditioned buses have a seating capacity of 35+1, a floor height of 900 mm, and are powered by a 200 kW battery, ensuring an energy-efficient ride.
