EKA Mobility, a leading sustainable mobility solutions provider, has signed an MoU with KPIT Technologies, a global expert in mobility technology solutions, to develop and integrate next-generation electric powertrain components. This partnership aims to set new benchmarks in efficiency, performance, and sustainability for India’s electric commercial vehicle (e-CV) industry.
Under this collaboration, the companies will focus on designing advanced electric powertrain systems, including traction motors, controllers, vehicle control units (VCUs), and battery management systems (BMS). These innovations will be specifically tailored for EKA’s electric buses and commercial vehicles, leveraging KPIT’s three decades of experience in mobility and its suite of indigenously developed electric powertrain technologies. The result will be enhanced energy efficiency, lower total cost of ownership (TCO), and an improved driving experience for EKA customers.
