EKA Mobility, an electric vehicle company based in Pune, in partnership with Chartered Speed, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for supplying 675 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme. The order, which includes 565 units of 9-metre e-buses and 110 units of 12-metre e-buses, covers deployments in major cities across Rajasthan.
The LoA follows the issuance of a Letter of Confirmation of Quantity (LOCQ) by Convergence Energy Services (CESL) for the distribution of electric buses throughout India. EKA Mobility will deploy these buses in eight key cities of Rajasthan – Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Bhilwara, and Jodhpur.
