Pune-based clean energy solutions provider Ecozen is set to raise USD 75 million (approximately Rs 620 crore) to accelerate its growth in domestic and international markets, according to CEO Devendra Gupta. Ecozen, known for its solar-powered cold storage systems, is planning to use the funds to expand its production facilities, diversify its product offerings, and increase its presence globally.
Gupta stated, “We are looking to secure private investment to support our growth, establish new partnerships, and enhance customer financing.” Ecozen’s current production facility spans 1 lakh square feet, and the company is now exploring new product ranges across various sectors.
In retail, it has introduced advanced freezer solutions, while in mobility, it is enhancing electric vehicle performance with its motor controllers and battery analytics. Additionally, Ecozen is exploring retrofit options to broaden the reach of its solutions. Already active in over 13 countries, Ecozen also has a strong footprint in India, with operations across states including Maharashtra, Odisha, Karnataka, and Rajasthan, and aims to continue its international expansion.
