Eco Recycling Limited a leading player in India’s e-waste management sector, reported a net profit of ₹18 crore for the first quarter of FY26, reflecting a 268% year-on-year increase. The results are part of the company’s unaudited consolidated financials for the quarter.

Commenting on the performance, B K Soni, Chairman and Managing Director, said “We have delivered strong growth this quarter, supported by disciplined execution and strategic investments. Our newly commissioned 40,000 sq ft recycling facility, which includes a dedicated lithium-ion battery recycling line, significantly enhances our processing capacity and aligns us with the regulatory demands outlined in the E-Waste Management Rules, 2022. All investments have been internally funded, reinforcing our debt-free position and financial discipline.”

Eco Recycling’s operational expansion comes at a time of increasing global and domestic attention on sustainable resource recovery. The company’s appointment to the Technical Advisory Committee of SERI (Sustainable Electronics Recycling International) further highlights its leadership in advancing responsible recycling practices. Mr Soni noted that policy initiatives such as the centralized Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) portal and international investments, including Japan’s recent $400 million commitment to mineral recovery, indicate a global shift toward circular economy models.

With these developments, Eco Recycling is well-positioned to scale its operations, strengthen compliance support for clients, and drive innovation in the areas of precious metal recovery, data destruction, and battery recycling. The company serves a wide client base including multinational corporations, government departments, educational institutions, retailers, and households.

In the previous fiscal year (FY25), Eco Recycling reported revenues of ₹46.30 crore, EBITDA of ₹33.32 crore, and profit after tax of ₹23.38 crore, reflecting consistent growth and expanding market leadership in the waste management sector.
