Eaton Powers the Future of AI-Driven Data Centers in Collaboration with NVIDIA

In partnership with NVIDIA, Eaton is helping to usher in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems tailored for AI workloads, including NVIDIA Kyber rack-scale solutions powered by Rubin Ultra GPUs.

The collaboration focuses on developing reference architectures, engineering best practices, and next-generation power solutions that can support high-density GPU environments. Among these innovations is the move toward 800V HVDC infrastructure, enabling support for racks exceeding 1 megawatt capacity. Eaton and NVIDIA are also exploring applications within the NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint for designing and operating AI factories.

As global investment in data centers is projected to surpass $1 trillion by 2029, operators are rapidly upgrading facilities to accommodate growing training and inference workloads. Eaton is leveraging its longstanding expertise in power infrastructure to deliver scalable, efficient systems that span the full power pathway—from utility grid to semiconductor chip.
