HCLTech, a global technology leader, has announced a significant extension of its partnership with E.ON, one of Europe’s largest energy companies, which serves around 47 million customers through a distribution network spanning 1.6 million kilometers. This strengthened collaboration positions HCLTech as a key partner in E.ON’s ongoing cloud journey.
The new multi-year agreement will see HCLTech implement a private cloud for E.ON and manage cloud and network services across the company’s global hyperscale platforms. By utilizing advanced solutions such as AI Force, HCLTech will support E.ON in scaling hyperautomation, improving its cloud and network capabilities, and accelerating its DevOps-led product transformation. The partnership aims to enable E.ON to optimize operations, foster innovation, and respond more rapidly to changing market conditions.
Gert Buitenhuis, Head of Global Technology Platforms at E.ON, shared, “Our digital infrastructure, built on a mature cloud and network foundation, is central to our transformation efforts. HCLTech is an ideal partner to help us take this transformation to the next level, driving large-scale change through automation and AI.”
Jens Kallrath, Head of Partnering and Vendor Management at E.ON, added, “HCLTech has been a trusted partner in our transformation journey, bringing proven expertise in DevOps and digital change. Together, we are well-equipped to accelerate our shift towards greater agility, efficiency, and innovation.”
