Dynamis Power Solutions, LLC, a prominent North American supplier of transportable power generation systems, has issued a substantial purchase order to Baker Hughes, the global energy technology company. The agreement, recorded in Q3 2025, covers 25 aeroderivative gas turbines—including LM2500, LM6000, and LM9000 models—providing a combined output of roughly 1.3 gigawatts. These turbines will support mobile power needs across upstream facilities, refineries, and petrochemical plants.
Dynamis integrates turbines and generators into its engineered mobile platforms. Under this new collaboration, ten LM9000 turbines will be incorporated into Dynamis’ newly introduced DT70 units, each rated at 70 MW. Together, they will add 700 MW of generation capacity and are expected to deliver the highest mobile power density available in the oil and gas sector.
“Our longstanding partnership with Baker Hughes continues to push boundaries in mobile energy solutions,” said Matthew Crawford, CEO of Dynamis. “The LM9000 technology allows us to double the output of our DT35 units while maintaining the same standards of reliability, operational flexibility, and efficiency.”
Lorenzo Simonelli, Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes, added “As global energy needs expand, collaboration is essential to deliver dependable, efficient power. This project reinforces our commitment to supplying technology that enables business-critical operations and supports responsible development of energy resources.”
The DT70 platform builds upon nearly a decade of field performance from the DT35 fleet, which has accumulated an installed base of 1.5 GW across more than 1,200 deployments in North America. The enhanced design offers robust performance in demanding environments and rapid installation thanks to a compact footprint and accelerated commissioning schedule.
The new solution is now open for orders and will help oil and gas operators across the region secure cleaner, reliable, on-demand power for diverse applications. Dynamis Power Solutions delivers rapidly deployable utility-grade power solutions that offer the benefits of a full-scale power plant with reduced installation time, lower overall cost, and high mobility—suitable for temporary and long-term operations across multiple industries.
