Dürr has introduced the new EcoPump GW iD gear metering pump, designed for precise and consistent dosing of 1K and 2K coating materials used in industrial painting applications. The new pump focuses on durability, easy operation and cost-efficient performance. With flow rates ranging from 9 to 900 ml/min, the EcoPump GW iD can be configured for a wide range of coating processes that require accurate volumetric delivery.

The pump is compatible with Dürr’s ready2integrate concept, which combines the control system, metering technology and applicator into a preconfigured solution. This enables faster installation, reliable operation and easier integration into existing coating systems.

The EcoPump GW iD is designed to support consistent paint quality and stable production performance. All models are equipped with an Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC) coating, which provides high durability and helps maintain the pump’s performance over an extended operating period.

An optional bypass valve is available to further improve operational safety. The valve provides pressure relief and opens automatically if excessive pressure develops, protecting downstream application equipment from potential damage and helping prevent process interruptions.

Flushable versions of the pump feature a patented shaft bearing designed to increase service life. The longer operating life can help reduce maintenance and repair requirements while improving overall equipment reliability. The EcoPump GW iD is part of Dürr’s Fluid Board2, a compact system that brings together components required for accurate paint metering. The design allows the pump and associated equipment to be integrated efficiently into industrial coating lines. For customers with existing installations, the pump can also be retrofitted to the Fluid Board1. It can additionally be installed as an individual component in existing systems, providing flexibility for upgrades and replacements.

The new pump is aimed at manufacturers seeking reliable paint dosing technology for industrial coating operations. Its combination of adjustable flow rates, protective features and flexible installation options is designed to support consistent coating quality while helping manufacturers manage operating and maintenance costs.

With the EcoPump GW iD, Dürr continues to expand its range of coating and application technologies for industrial customers. The new solution provides manufacturers with a compact and adaptable option for precise paint metering across different production requirements.
