Opening of DN Solutions First Technical Solutions Center in Europe

DN Solutions has elevated its customer support in Europe by inaugurating its first Technical Center in Germany, situated in Dormagen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The opening ceremony on November 22 marked a significant step in the company’s strategy to strengthen pre-sales support in the European market. The two-day event, attended by over 200 partner customers and guests, featured speeches from Kim Wonjong, CEO of DN Solutions, and Stefanie Frank, CEO of Siemens MTS.

The Technical Center, sprawling over 1,000 square meters, showcases cutting-edge facilities and underscores DN Solutions’ commitment to advanced automation solutions. Live demonstrations during the opening ceremony highlighted twelve ultra-modern CNC machines, emphasizing advanced automation solutions in collaboration with specialized automation suppliers. Among the showcased machines were the compact turning center (PUMA DNT2100) equipped with a collaborative robot, the two-spindle horizontal turning center (PUMA TW2600M) integrated with a gantry loader, and the compact vertical 5-axis machining center (DVF 4000) with an automatic workpiece changer (AWC).

DN Solutions also presented industry-oriented machining solutions for aerospace and electric motors, complemented by clamping solutions and advanced machining technologies such as dynamic turning. The Technical Center aims to serve as a consulting hub for interested parties, providing information on suitable machine tools and peripherals. It facilitates on-demand machining process testing, including time studies and machining trials, with at least ten different machine types permanently on display.

The company has set ambitious long-term goals for the Technical Center, intending to expand its role as a technical hub for turnkey projects, develop its automation retrofit department, and become a reliable one-stop solution provider for all customer manufacturing needs. Additionally, the center will host technical seminars regularly throughout the year.

The establishment of the Technical Center aligns with DN Solutions’ broader strategy to strengthen its foothold in the European market. The company has already announced plans to create a research and development center at EMO Hannover in September. According to Kim Wonjong, CEO of DN Solutions, both the Technical Center and the planned research and development center are the first of their kind in Europe. He emphasized their significance in a dynamic market like Europe, where cutting-edge technologies such as Industry 4.0 and Additive Machining are evolving. DN Solutions is confident that these centers will enhance its understanding of the European market, cater to unique needs, and foster valuable connections with European customers.
